Construction Immigration Coalition

Recruit skilled trade workers and labourers from outside of Canada

The Construction Immigration Coalition (CIC) consists of associations in Nova Scotia’s construction sector. The Coalition’s purpose is to address labour shortages by helping construction employers recruit skilled trades workers and labourers from outside of Canada through immigration pathways.

The Coalition provides employers with support in finding qualified international candidates, navigating the immigration process, and ensuring compliance with immigration requirements.

CIC works with the Province of Nova Scotia to facilitate the recruitment of international workers, including participating in international recruitment missions. The CIC provides employers with resources, such as the expertise of an International Recruiter, to assist them throughout the recruitment and immigration process.
